Surf N Sky Sesame Ginger Scallops and Wood Duck Recipe

Joel from our Mid-West Kitchen shows us how he prepares the Wood Ducks he harvested in this delicious recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb sea scallops
  • 1 lb Wood Duck Breasts (or any duck breast cut into small cubes)
  • 1 tbsp Provider Spawn Rub/Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Provider Dragon Rub/Seasoning
  • 1 tsp minced Ginger
  • 1/2 cup Soy Sauce
  • 3 tbsp Honey
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth
  • 3 tbsp Corn Starch
  • 2 cups cooked Rice
  • Cooking oil
  • Sesame seeds

Directions:
Combine soy sauce, chicken broth, ginger, honey, and Spawn seasoning in cast iron skillet or sauce pot. Heat to simmer. Add slurry of water and 1/2 teaspoon corn starch to simmering sauce until slightly thickened. Allow to continue simmering on low.

Heat cooking oil in separate skillet. Dredge scallops and duck pieces in dry corn starch and Provider Dragon Mixture and pan fry, turning after about 1 1/2 minutes and fry for another 1-2 minutes.
