When you hunt wild sheep or goats there’s often a natural reluctance to put that meat on the table. Don’t be scared!!! With a simple Provider Drop Tine seasoning recipe your Holiday dinner guests with wonder why you’ve never served such a fantastic roast before this! Tell them after dinner, “That’s how you finish what you’ve started!”
Ingredients
- 4-5 lbs wild sheep/goat/venison/store purchased backstraps/tenderloins
- 1 gallon water
- 1 cup cooking oil
- 1/2 cup lemon/lime juice
- 1 chopped onion
- 1/2 cup minced garlic
- 1 can sliced pineapple
- 1/4 cup Provider Drop Tine / favorite Provider Rub
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp salt
Instructions
- Place meat in crockpot or pressure cooker.
- Fill water to top of meat.
- Add oil, lime juice, onion, garlic, pineapple, Provider Rub/Spice, salt, and pepper
- Cook in crockpot 8 hours until fork tender. Pressure cooker 3 1/2 hours.
- Separate into palm sized servings. Drizzle with stock, garnish with pineapple and serve.
